Specific subjects, sometimes just because I'm interested in them, and sometimes because of a camera club theme.

Upcoming camera club theme competition: A Different Point of View Look up, look down, look behind the subject (Look at the subject from the top, the bottom, the back--in an nontraditional way.)

I need 4 images for a February 2012 club competition with the theme 'Portraits'. None of these are studio shots, and arguably, none of them are posed, so why do I insist on referring to them as portraits? My preference is to capture people in a way that says something about who they are along with their home, work, or hobby environment.

A true abstract should be completely non-representational, with no obviously discernable objects. ('Abstracted' refers to images which take recognizable objects out of their normal context.)  I'm working on two different sets of abstracts, a geometric set that uses kaledescopic software, and another set that is based on camera movement or obscure subject.

I need 3 images for an upcoming club competition, Through Doors, Out Windows. Images with a view through doors or windows, looking out or in. The window(s) or door(s) may be the subject themselves, or a framing device for some other scene.
